Sur une plage de l'Atlantique...

Solitaire

And for you, Nicole, I made this translation. You will excuse my bad english..

The Lady is walking when gazing at her feet. Maybe is she playing with the shadow on her left, a double of herself flat and distorted.

Moreover this shadow is tall than she is.

The beach seems to be deserted, high tide, and the wet sand stripe rather narrow. Next wave will cover the tracks...

Haven’t she any other companion of walk than her own shadow ?

Loneliness or not ?

All is bending. The weight of the sea, surely, is leading the shore ?

The tracks of her steps, the shadow and the pretty walker are drawing a Y.

Sure, she is called Yolande, or Yvette.

Or Yveline. It’s nice, Yveline. And not so common.
